Urban Cinematograpy met Maria & Peter over a year ago over coffee at Balthazar one of our favourite places in  London's Covent Garden. Maria & Peter are such an engaging couple, we fell in love with their personalities instantly.

At our First meeting Maria sold us her vision of a Winter Wonderland Christmas Wedding to be held at the iconic Langham Hotel, needless to say her vision did not disappoint it was magical! 

 Peter & Maria as a couple are polar opposites, Pete is calm, smooth and very low key, whereas Maria is exuberant, passionate with her ideas and if she doesn't mind me saying very extrovert with a heart as big as a lion! 

 The Bride wore a stunning Suzanne Neville fitted, contemporary couture off white gown with button detailing to the back. The dress had a lace Bolero for the ceremony and a diamante belt for the evening party. Suzanne Neville is often featured in top bridal magazines and fashion forward publications, her dresses are hand crafted and British made. The Groom looked equally impressive in a Bespoke Tom Ford suit. The Bride was very fortunate to have her two daughters as bridesmaids who's dresses were custom made in soft grey and elegant black tones. All the girls wore Jimmy Choo's to indulge every girls passion for shoes! 

 We began filming the day with the traditional Greek/Cypriot morning preparations, followed by the ceremony at the beautiful St Andrews Greek Orthodox Church. 

 The Evening Reception was held at the Langham Hotel one of the oldest Hotels in London with a rich history. The guests were surprised when they entered the cocktail party, the room had been transformed into a magical winter wonderland with blue twinkling lights and a snowy woodland feel. The guests were then transported to a classy Lily white wonderland of roses and candlelight. 

The entertainment for the evening was provided by the wonderful Emma Stevens, who agreed to sing especially for the Bride who is a huge fan of her quirky, modern style. After Emma has finished with her set The Popular Connexions Band and the beautiful Kerry sung all the Greek Favourites. A great way for us to end the year! Love and health to the happy couple. x
